Accessibility statement
Louis and Patricia Kelso wrote for everyone. We want everyone to be able to read their work, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the most widely used standard for accessible websites.
What we have done
Pages use a clear heading structure, so screen reader users can move through them easily.
Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
Text and background colors are chosen for strong contrast.
The interactive tools, including the ownership calculator, the questions and answers, and the letter builder, work with a keyboard and label their controls for screen readers.
Pages adjust to phones, tablets and browser zoom without losing content.
Both videos on The Ideas page have written summaries beside them for anyone who cannot watch or hear them.
Essays in the Library are web text, not scanned images, so they can be read aloud, enlarged and translated by your browser.
Known limitations
Videos play through YouTube, whose player and captions we do not control. Gifts will be handled by [donation platform], which has its own accessibility commitments.
We have reviewed the site ourselves but have not yet had it tested independently. We plan to, and we will update this page with what we learn.
Tell us about a problem
If anything on this site is hard to use, or you need any of our materials in another format, please email [public email]. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within five business days and to get you the information another way in the meantime.
